Complete System

A Complete System is a motorized caterpillar puller with motor, drive, and a user friendly interface, mounted on a high quality table with adjustable height.

Motorized caterpillar puller with motor, drive, and basic speed control interface, mounted on a metal plate. This Versatile construct can be adapted to work on your current extrusion line.

The CM-22 is a 2″ X 9″ (50.8 X 228.6 mm) traction length caterpillar extusion puller system. Available in either a right-to-left or left-to-right configuration, optional air opening/closing, gear or belt drive, and with either OSHA or CE style guarding.

It is available as a basic motorized system on a metal plate with a simple speed control, or as a complete system with a color touchscreen and a user friendly remote control interface. In the Remote mode the user can configure the controls to operate using a digital input, or a 0 to 10 VDC input that can be scaled to allow 10 VDC to equal any speed up to the maximum speed the system is configured for. The CM-22 is recommended for operation at speeds up to 550 FPM.

The CM-44 is a 4″ X 9″ (101.6 X 228.6 mm) traction length caterpillar extrusion puller system. Available in either a right-to-left or left-to-right configuration, optional air opening/closing, gear or belt drive, and with either OSHA or CE style guarding.

Versa “C” series

The Versa “C” series caterpillar extrusion pullers provide an even distribution of clamping force over the surface of the product. This enables greater pulling forces without deformation of the product. Belt configurations range from 2” (50.8 mm) width x 9” (230 mm) length to 4” (101.6 mm) width x 18” (460 mm) length. Uniform pressure is maintained over the entire traction length.

Versa “P” series

The Versa “P” series pinch wheel extrusion pullers are commonly used where materials are not sensitive to a pinching pressure and in operations where minimal pulling force is necessary. Pinch wheel models are offered with 2” (50 mm) or 5.5” (139.7 mm) wide rolls. Numerous roll materials are available, offering different traction and wear characteristics.
